Celebrate Memorial Day
Know anyone in the U.S. Military? They can take my free Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training and get certified.
“Hi, I’m Jay Arthur, author of “Lean Six Sigma For Hospitals” and QI Macros [software].
“This Memorial Day, let’s celebrate the people who have served in the armed forces of the United States and kept us safe from the crazies that are out there. One of the things we do at QI Macros is I have a full-blown Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. Anybody can [go through the training] for free, but if they want to take the test I charge $97 for them to actually get certified. We offer that [certification] free to veterans: military, active, retired… doesn’t matter what it is. US military – anybody can take that class.
“There’s been some observations and some studies that have found that the typical improvement project, the median for that is $150,000 in savings. What if we could train all of our US military to start helping businesses make improvements that save $150,000? Even if it’s just $15,000… so what? This is what’s possible.
“So if you know somebody who’s in the US military who would like to learn a little bit more about Six Sigma, send them to www.lssyb.com and have them take the class. That’s my contribution to America’s service people. Let’s get everybody some cred, so they can go out and get better jobs and start working and doing more stuff because these people are talented.
“So, that’s my Improvement Insight this week. Let’s go ahead and improve something just this week.”
