“Have you ever tried to take your pants off, but while you still have your socks on? Seems like the friction between the sock and the pant makes it more difficult to take them off. But if you take off your socks first, then your pants will slide right over the smoothness of your skin and your ankle.
“Think about that in your business. What are you doing? Can you change the order of something so that you remove the friction about how something happens? Maybe you just swap the order of something and all of a sudden everything gets smoother.
“That’s my Improvement Insight for this week. Let’s start removing the friction from our lives, and maybe it’s as simple as switching the order of something. Let’s go out and improve something this week.”
