Agile Lean Six Sigma Trainer Certification

You can become a certified Agile Lean Six Sigma Trainer. The requirements are simple:

  1. First, become faimilar with the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training.
  2. Second, watch the Agile Lean Six Sigma Training Videos. How would you apply them in your business?
    • if you are an internal trainer, follow the process below.
    • If you are an external training, you might want to do two or three trainings in one week following the process below. (First time, maybe just one.)
Spend a week beforehand doing the prework and confirming that teams can win. Then add a week of follow up to ensure that teams achieve results and implement a control system.
  3. Follow the process:
    • Find one or more teams with a real problem to solve and data about that problem. Make sure that each team can succeed at solving the problem involving their data. This means doing the analysis beforehand. If you need help, send the Excel files to me and I can verify that the team can succeed or not. You could have team members take my Yellow Belt training in preparation for analysis and improvement. Students can download the Agile Process Innovation ebook as well.
    • In one day, use my Yellow Belt Training videos or teach the basics yourself using the Agile LSS Action Plan. Help teams use QI Macros to analyze their data and develop a great improvement project. It may take two days the first time or two through the process. It will feel unfamiliar moving this fast, but speed is the key to rapid learning.
    • Coach teams in implementing their countermeasures and measuring results. Help them set up a control system to monitor the improvement with control charts using QI Macros Control Chart Templates. Team members will need QI Macros to do this.
    • Identify team members who show great interest and aptitude for improvement. Consider sending these individuals on for Green or Black Belt training. This workshop serves as a filter to find the right people for advanced training.
    • Send the team's improvement stories to me in Excel workbooks. Describe the results achieved and how it went. I'll review and we can get online to discuss it. Based on the stories and results, I'll issue your certification (Fee $995). Then you can continue to improve and refine your delivery (I still am).
    • Once certified, you might consider offering Yellow Belt Certification to team participants.
The fee for certification is $995 to cover my time. This fee is required to receive certification, but I don't need it up front. I'll require it when you send the team's projects for analysis and discussion.
