Then I&#8217;d grind away for a whole weekend getting the paperwork together and entered into my tax software. Boy that was dumb.<\/p>\n<p>In the last few years I&#8217;ve started buying my tax software early and inputting every W-2 and 1099 when it comes in. When the last bit of paperwork comes in, I compare this year with last year, fix any glitches and I&#8217;m ready to file.<\/p>\n<p>This is a\u00a0<em>Lean<\/em> approach to handling my taxes. I handle everything, just in time, as it comes in. Takes me a couple of minutes a day. Before I know it, my taxes are done.<\/p>\n<p>I no longer dread doing my taxes because everything gets done daily in small quantities.
