It&#8217;s provides basic Excel functionality. As expected, it will handle QI Macros charting templates, but won&#8217;t run macros. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qimacros.com\/store\/?cat=14\">https:\/\/www.qimacros.com\/store\/?cat=14<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To get the full functionality of the QI Macros or to run any Visual Basic addins, you&#8217;ll need a Windows 8 tablet running Excel 2010 or Excel 2013.<\/p>\n<p>I tried several Win 8 tablets.<br \/>\nThe Surface Pro is fast, but heavy and runs warm because of the I5 processor. I didn&#8217;t love the keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>I tried the Samsung, but it had an idiot light that blinked when closed that ate 5% of the battery every day.<\/p>\n<p>I finally ended up with the HP Envy X2. The tablet is about the same weight as an iPad and the keyboard feels good. There&#8217;s a battery in both the tablet and keyboard which extends battery life to about 14 hours which is plenty, even for the longest flights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Downloaded and installed Excel for the iPad.
