We have a half a million nurse shortage in the United States of America, and LeAnn has a system she calls \u201ceach one reach one.\u201d Each nurse that&#8217;s out there, maybe you could bring somebody you know who&#8217;s a nurse back into the profession to help fill that gap.<\/p>\r\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d like you to think about that from a Quality Improvement perspective. We have all these Quality Improvement folks, but maybe each one of us could teach one more, right?<\/p>\r\n<p>&#8220;Let&#8217;s go out and coach people. I&#8217;m doing that with people in my office and helping them to raise their level of quality experience and knowledge, maybe you can do that too in your organization. Take someone under your wing that&#8217;s curious and teach them how to do this. It&#8217;s not that hard. It used to be hard. I have that free Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training online that they can go take and learn all about it if you don&#8217;t have time to teach them.<\/p>\r\n<p>&#8220;So that&#8217;s my Improvement Insight for this week. Let&#8217;s create more improvement experts.
