City University of New York colleges are &#8220;experimenting with alternatives to conventional math because it&#8217;s a &#8216;killing field&#8217; for many students,&#8221; says Chancellor James Milliken.<\/p>\r\n<p>Again, the same is true of Six Sigma. Math and formulas are a &#8220;killing field&#8221; for students.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/254495706?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\"><\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Fortunately, students don&#8217;t need to know formulas to do Six Sigma if they have software like QI Macros\u00ae to handle calculations for them.<\/p>\r\n<p>Stop teaching people things they don&#8217;t need to know to succeed at Six Sigma.
