Purpose: A Stem and Leaf Plot is used like a histogram to show the spread and shape of data.
In the example above, data ranges from 65 to 95.
- Stem - numbers 6-7-8-9 (first digit)
- Leaves - numbers 0-9 (second digit)
- Median is shown next to the leaf
Just put your data in Column A and double click on the update button (not shown) to calculate the leaves.
