The purpose of the bar chart is to understand the relative sizes of various elements.

Bar Chart in Excel using the QI Macros

  1. Gather data for all "bars" of the chart
  2. Label the left-hand (Y) axis the maximum possible size.
  3. Draw each bar on the chart and label it on the bottom (X) axis.
  4. Title the graph.
