The QI Macros are an affordable easy to use set of add ins for Microsoft Excel. Installing the QI MacrosTo install the QI Macros simply close Excel and run the QI Macros Installation Wizard. Once you run the wizard, open Excel and see the QI Macros on your Microsoft Excel toolbar. Watch a video of the Installation Process.
The QI Macros has four parts:Watch an overview of the QI Macros Menu. MacrosTo create a chart using a macro simply click and drag over your data and then select the chart you want to create from the QI Macros pull down menu. Here are some videos of sample charts:
Fill-in-the-Blanks-TemplatesThe QI Macros has over 70 fill-in the-blanks templates including the flowcharts, fishbones, Gage R&R, DOE, QFD and PPAP forms. To open a template click on Fill-in-the-Blanks-Templates and then one of the sub menus. Most input areas are highlighted in yellow. Here are some sample fill-in the-blanks templates.
Anova and Analysis ToolsThe QI Macros also includes and easy to use interface into Excel's data analysis toolpak. Statistical tools include anova, regression analysis, data normality test and sample size calculator. Here are some sample videos of the Anova and Analysis Tools:
