Data Analysis to Develop Actionable Improvement Stories

• Analyze performance data
  
• Create line, run or control charts of existing performance
• Create pareto charts that show where to laser focus the improvement effort
• Develop actionable problem statements and cause-effect diagrams for SWAT teams to analyze.

Or Root Cause Analysis to Reduce Errors and Defects

• Identify and verify root causes of the problem (e.g., mistakes, errors, etc.)
  
• Identification of countermeasures (proposed solutions)
  
• Develop Action Plan for implementation of proposed countermeasures.

Or Value-Added Analysis for Process Redesign

• Flow chart a slow process (e.g., delays, etc.)
  
• Conduct value analysis of activities, delays, and rework in the process.
  
• Restructure the process to eliminate costly delays.
  
• Develop an Action Plan for implementation of the revised process.
  

Green Belt Certification:

Just attending the class won't get you certified as a green belt, but completing an improvement project and submitting all of the documentation of your methods and tools will. Up to nine members per team can be certified for only $995/member. See this link for project submission requirement.
