Using a practical, hands on approach, Green
Belts will be given a comprehensive education in the Lean Six Sigma methodology
and an overview of the philosophy, purpose, and process of Lean
Six Sigma. You will learn to utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques
including problem solving methods (DMAIC) and Lean production. These courses cover everything in the body of knowledge recommended by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
To facilitate project effectiveness, you'll
be taught how to identify significant performance gaps and how to
use those gaps to generate potential projects. You will also learn
how to properly define and scope projects, and then present the projects
to peers and managers. We will also give you guidance on transitioning
and closing out existing projects.

Learn and Apply the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge
Week 1: Learn the methods and tools of a
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
On the Job: Work on an improvement project
based on your initial training
Week 2: Hands on coaching and additional
learning activities to cement your Green Belt skills.
Certification:
Upon completion and review
of a project, participants will receive certification.

On the Job: Work on an improvement project based on your initial training
Week 2: Hands on coaching and additional learning activities to cement your Black Belt skills.
Certification:
Upon completion and review of a second project, participants will receive certification.
