We help people think! |
Excel 2007 offers different user interface from previous versions of Excel. To simplify your life, we offer both an Excel 2007 ribbon interface and the Classic Excel 2003 menu. The QI Macros run the same way: just select your data using the mouse and click on the appropriate chart or tool. The Classic Excel Menu While the new ribbon interface may be easier for new users to learn, it can be challenging for those of us who have been using Excel for years. So, to simplify the transition, Jay created a "classic Excel 2003 menu" with all of the Excel tools and buttons, as well as the QI Macros Pull Down Menu. You'll have a choice of installing the Classic Excel Menu or the QI Macros Ribbon. After you've installed you easily switch the menus. The Classic Menu looks like this:
The Classic Excel Menu includes:

There are six "groups" on the QI Macros Ribbon:
Double Click the Play button (above) to watch the QI Macros 2007 in action. The QI Macros Control Chart Ribbon This ribbon loads in the Excel "Design" tab after you've drawn a control chart. It enables you to add data, delete points, show process changes and analyze stability on existing QI Macros control charts.
The QI Macros "Addins" Pull Down Menu You can also run the QI Macros using the Excel 97-2003 style menu by clicking on Excel's "Addin" Tab:
After you run a chart, you will also find the Excel 97-2003 QI Macros Chart Menu on the addins toolbar:
