It's easy to delete a point from a control chart created using the QI Macros.

Control Charts Created with a Macro

To delete a point from a control chart:

1. Click on the chart.
2. Click on the point you want to delete. Excel will highlight the point you clicked on and the point before it.

   

3. Click on the QI Macros pull down menu and select Delete Point from Control Chart.

   

4. Rerun stability analysis without the deleted point by selecting the QI Macros Chart menu and selecting "Analyze Stability."

To delete a point on a control chart template simply delete that point from the input area.
